Drywall Installation and Repair

A drywall repair is only as good as its edges and its texture. Anyone can push filler into a hole; the work is in feathering the compound wide enough that the light does not catch it, and matching the texture on the wall around it before any paint goes on.

Most repairs need two visits, because joint compound has to dry properly before it is sanded and coated again. I will tell you up front if yours does.

How it is priced

Small patches are priced per repair, and a group of them in one visit is cheaper than one at a time. Larger work — a wall, a ceiling, a whole room — is quoted as a job after I have seen it. Texture matching is included; it is part of the repair, not an extra.
